If you’re an existing Precise Mortgages customer with a residential mortgage or a BTL mortgage product coming to an end, our service is for you.
Their product transfer range is ideal for:
- Existing Precise Mortgages customers
- Customers whose existing product is due to expire within the next three months
- Customers outside of their early repayment charge period
- Your circumstances have changed, and you can’t remortgage
While most Precise Mortgages accounts qualify for a product transfer, we will need to check with Precise Mortgages your account eligibility by confirming:
- Your mortgage payments are up to date
- Their Product Transfer range is available to you
When to Use Our Free Product Transfer Service
You can apply for a product transfer up to three months before your current mortgage product ends. Acting early allows you to lock in your next mortgage product ahead of time, ensuring a smooth transition with no gaps in your mortgage arrangement.

- Mortgage Account Number: To verify your account with Precise Mortgages
- Property Address: The address of the mortgaged property
- Mortgage Payment Amount: We need the exact amount paid on your last bank statement
- Payment Method: Account number and sort code of your account

Alternatively, you can complete a Product Transfer Letter of Authority (click here); however, Precise Mortgages may take up to 5 working days to confirm our ability to proceed.
The Next 4 Steps for Your Product Transfer Application
Initial Assessment
Once we have your authority, we’ll contact Precise Mortgages to conduct an eligibility check, confirming that your account is up to date and that the product transfer range is available to you.
Product Selection
Once eligibility is confirmed, we’ll guide you in selecting a product that aligns with your financial goals. Applications can be made up to three months before your current product ends, but transfers cannot be completed during an early repayment charge period.
Mortgage Illustration
We’ll send you a detailed mortgage illustration outlining the terms of your selected product.
- Changes to your account, such as repayment terms or methods, must be made either before or after the transfer completes
- Lump-sum overpayments can be made 10 days before the transfer completes, provided the acceptance of the offer has been received.
Mortgage Offer
If you’re happy with the illustration, we’ll arrange for Precise Mortgages to produce your mortgage offer. You’ll receive offer packs for review and can proceed to completion by signing and returning the acceptance of the offer.
Once the signed acceptance is received, Precise Mortgages will finalise the transfer. A clear calendar month is required between receiving your acceptance and completing the product transfer.
